How Aimstate Works

Create a comprehensive

long-term vision for yourself, and the world around you.  Helping you stay committed to that vision on a daily basis...

...and enjoy doing it.

How does this actually play out on the ground for those using the system?

When you first sign up, via your computer or mobile, you jump into the 'goal mapping' area and input all the aspirations you want help with.

AimState constructs a graphic using these goals, showing basic things like target dates etc.

Building from this, the system invites you to construct more detail into this picture to show what sub-tasks, resources, and other people could also be a part of the equation, and to illustrate how all the goals relate to, and are compatible with, each other.

You are then able to create a vault, within each of these goal points, in which you can store information (whether it be historic or current, scientific or emotive) relating to that goal.

Then, in the ‘workshop’ area, you can start teaching the system your routines (via, for example, your digital calendars, and google maps to describe where around town you regularly work and eat etc), and input detail around how these places and activities could present opportunities to get you closer to your goals.

The system then starts to do one of its most important jobs - delivering smart, time / place specific, tailored prompts, via your mobile, keeping you focused and passionate about your goals at key moments throughout

the day.

A lot of this would involve reminders to perform quite simple actions (some of the biggest issues our world currently faces could be eliminated with very simple behaviour changes across a population).

For example:

Taking the stairs instead of the elevator every morning. (for the sake of personal health and, consequently, the public health system)

Bringing a reusable container and utensils from home when planning to get takeaways for lunch. (to help solve plastic waste issues)

Continuing to work on a new social enterprise startup idea while waiting for the bus.

And some of the information delivered to you would be not so much action prompts, but would focus more generally on optimising your mindset to help you keep on track with your aspirations.

For example: highlighting the benefits of your goals, or suggesting time management techniques.
